Humanity – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week
Be the best version of yourself you can be.
Ways of practicising Humanity:
- Catch yourself when you have a ‘us’, ‘them’ or ‘me’ attitude and change it to ‘we’ – discover how different you feel & think.
- Value each person – listen to listen & learn – catch yourself if you want to respond without hearing them out.
- Do something for someone without them asking for help – consider who needs help and what you can do to provide it.
How to use this card:
Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.
- Read this card each morning.
- At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your actions in regard to this virtue.
- Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
- You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
