Commitment – Virtue of the Week

Commitment – Virtue of the Week

26 December 2016 – 1 January 2017

Commitment – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week

Be the best version of yourself you can be.

Ideas for practicising Commitment:

  • Be realistic when making New Year’s Resolutions – select only 3 things you want to improve and ensure they’re achievable.
  • Remove negative thoughts about your goals when you have them. Replace with positive thoughts.
  • Giving 100% means staying on course in spite of unintended detours.

How to use this card:

Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.

  • Read this card each morning.
  • At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your actions in regard to this virtue.
  • Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
  • You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
