Consideration – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week

Be the change you wish to see in the world – make a difference.

Consideration

How to practice Consideration:

  • Consider whether your words are kind. You can be honest and tactful. People hear what is at the heart of the message regardless of what you tell them.
  • Be thoughtful and think about what you can do to make your partner, children, family and/or friends day a better day today. Do it.
  • Reflect on whether or not you have balance & moderation in all areas of your life and that one, or more areas are not suffering because of other areas. What can you do to bring back the balance?

How to use this card:

Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.

  • Read this card each morning.
  • At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your behaviour in regard to this virtue.
  • Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
  • You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
