Contentment – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week
Be the change you wish to see in the world – make a difference.
How to practice Contentment:
- Appreciate the little things – a warm shower, having a positive outlook, great neighbours, the sun on your back, friendly interactions with strangers.
- Contemplate on the fact that you are enough and you make a difference in the world.
- Do something that brings you peace and contentment this week – a yoga session, catch up with a friend you haven’t caught up with for a while, sit & read a book, meditate, focus on what you have.
How to use this card:
Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.
- Read this card each morning.
- At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your behaviour in regard to this virtue.
- Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
- You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
