Courage – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week
Be the change you wish to see in the world – make a difference.
How to practice Courage:
- Think about what you want or need to do to make a change in your life that you want – what is the first step you need to take to get it?
- Ask for what you want, envisage it – there’s no reason you can’t get it – as long as it’s good for you, others & the world
- Consider times in your life when you have done something hard – consider how much stronger it has made you as a person. Acknowledge yourself for getting through it.
How to use this card:
Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.
- Read this card each morning.
- At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your behaviour in regard to this virtue.
- Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
- You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
