Curiosity – gets you thinking

17-21 December 2018

Curiosity gets you thinking and supports having an open-minded attitude. When we are curious about why something works the way it does or doesn’t work the way it could, it supports innovation and room for improvement.

When you are curious you also recognize that there are many other perspectives to consider other than your own and you begin to develop a curious mind and a love of learning that is so valuable to maintain throughout your life.

Curiosity gets you thinking and opens your mind up to new possibilities, new ways of looking at things, a willingness to take on other viewpoints that are different from yours and consider them. Curiosity opens the door to acceptance as well as an opportunity to be innovative.

Curiosity is also the start of change as when you consider how things can be, you realize it is an opportunity for growth, personal or worldly, big or small. Thought doesn’t amount to much unless you take action and that’s when you impact the world. Small things can have a massive impact.

What is it you want to impact in your world? What are you curious about? It is often something that you are passionate about and can make a difference in the world even though you may not realize it. Take the next step and do whatever it is you need to make the changes in your world and find the support you need to get you there because when we work in collaboration with others you achieve more!

How do you build character? You focus on one characteristic a week. Often when people go through challenging times in their life they are referred to as character building opportunities. We strive to help you build your character on a weekly basis so that when you go through challenging times, as we all do, you will be better equipped emotionally and mentally to tackle and cope with what life throws at you. By joining our tribe you will not only contribute by creating the world you want to live in – you will inspire others to do the same. Be the change you want to see in the world. Make a difference.

How to practice the ‘Character Of The Week’ (5 mins a day max.):

  • Every morning: 1) Read the card; 2) Reflect on what the card is saying to you right now; 3) Have a great day by trusting that this characteristic will come to mind at the right time during your day
  • Every evening: 1) Reflect whether, when and how you strengthened this characteristic today; 2) if you did strengthen it be proud of who you are; if you didn’t strengthen that characteristic what would do differently next time if you got the opportunity.
  • Life is all about living and learning – and taking action – enjoy!
