Independence – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week

Independence – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week

3-9 July 2017

Independence – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week

Be the best version of yourself you can be – someone is looking up to you.

Ways of practicising Independence:

  • Think for yourself – make up your own mind, that’s why you have it. Be a leader of your own life, not a follower.
  • Know your own worth – you are unique, you are valuable. Involve yourself with people and things that will empower you, not bring you down.
  • Take care of yourself because you are the only one who truly can. Be a positive influence to others, get to know what you are truly capable of.

How to use this card:

Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.

  • Read this card each morning.
  • At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your actions in regard to this virtue.
  • Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
  • You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
