Perceptiveness – trust your instincts

31 December 2018 – 6 January 2019

Perceptiveness means trusting your instincts. Do you ever think of someone and then they call you – or you get a feeling that you are to do something such as complete a task or connect with someone, or go somewhere and later realize that it was for your benefit, or theirs, or both?

Isn’t it amazing when you contact a friend and they tell you they swear they were just thinking of you and about to call you? Or vice versa?

There is an energy and a vibration that we all emit and somehow we pick up on these things. At some stage, some of us don’t trust something we cannot see but it ’s like wifi – we can’t see that but we know it connects us with the outside world.

Our instincts connect us with our internal world. Some people meditate, some people pray but whatever you do it connects you wish listening to your intuition and to allow yourself to find stillness and calm for a certain period of time. That’s when things pop into your head that guides you in your life.

Listen up, trust your instincts and recognize whether you are operating out of fear or love. When you operate from the love you are on the right track. As you constantly practice following and trusting your instincts you will grow more confident and feel more empowered as you have the faith that the answers are all within you, all you need to do is trust your instincts.

I think that being perceptive and having interests is nothing but an asset – Ashley Judd

How do you build character? You focus on one characteristic a week. Often when people go through challenging times in their life they are referred to as character building opportunities. We strive to help you build your character on a weekly basis so that when you go through challenging times, as we all do, you will be better equipped emotionally and mentally to tackle and cope with what life throws at you. By joining our tribe you will not only contribute by creating the world you want to live in – you will inspire others to do the same. Be the change you want to see in the world. Make a difference.

How to practice the ‘Character Of The Week’ (5 mins a day max.):

  • Every morning: 1) Read the card; 2) Reflect on what the card is saying to you right now; 3) Have a great day by trusting that this characteristic will come to mind at the right time during your day
  • Every evening: 1) Reflect whether, when and how you strengthened this characteristic today; 2) if you did strengthen it be proud of who you are; if you didn’t strengthen that characteristic what would do differently next time if you got the opportunity.
  • Life is all about living and learning – and taking action – enjoy!
