Self-Discipline – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week
Be the best version of yourself you can be – you are a role model for someone.
Ways of practicising Self-Discipline:
- Think about your behaviour – are you responding or reacting? Respond with kindness
- When you have negative thoughts – replace them with positive thoughts
- Decide on an action you want to take and remain focused & purposefulness until completed
How to use this card:
Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.
- Read this card each morning.
- At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your actions in regard to this virtue.
- Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
- You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
