Serenity – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week
Be the best version of yourself you can be.
Ways of practicising Serenity:
- Take at least 5 minutes every day to reflect on your life and the things that are of concern to you at the moment
- Trust that the answer is within you and you know what you need to do – then do it as long as it’s safe & kind to yourself and others
- Read the ‘Serenity Prayer’ at the top of the back of the card regularly – and reflect on what you can and can’t change in your life – you’ll realise there’s a lot you can change when you make changes first. Accept what you can’t.
How to use this card:
Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.
- Read this card each morning.
- At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your actions in regard to this virtue.
- Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
- You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
