Thankfulness – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week

Be the best version of yourself you can be – someone is looking up to you.

Ways of practicising Thankfulness:

  • Every day when you wake up think about at least 10 things you are grateful for in your life right now.
  • Appreciate everyone. Everyone is a gift – either for you to appreciate their essence or to teach you something which builds your character.
  • Throughout your day be mindful of the gifts provided to you that day – be thankful in the moment.

How to use this card:

Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.

  • Read this card each morning.
  • At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your actions in regard to this virtue.
  • Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
  • You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
