Beauty – is all around

Beauty – is all around

25 February – 3 March 2019

It is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You can choose to have a perspective where you can see the beauty in a situation, person or thing you can choose to have a different perspective. Whatever you’re searching for you’ll find, whether it be from a positive angle or a negative one. Everything passes in time. Be mindful of your thoughts.

When your thoughts are viewing situations or others from an angle which doesn’t serve you or others, choose to change your perspective and see the beauty in the situation or person. The more you practice this habit the more it will benefit you. When you choose an attitude of gratitude you see beauty all around you regardless of what is going on in your life. Beauty, attitude and gratitude are inter-related.

There’s even beauty in challenges within life as these are the life lessons that teach us to grow and develop into more than anticipated or even may have wanted at the time. It’s a wonderful feeling when you learn or achieve more than you thought you could. Sometimes this is hard to see when you’re in it but the magical thing is when you go searching for the beauty in the situation you’ll find it.

Taking the time to really observe things or people for what they are or what is happening without allowing preconceived ideas affect us is also something you could be mindful of. Take time out today, and every day to just observe something in nature and allow your mind to be filled with a sense of wonder.

The wonderful thing in life is that we all have the ability to open our minds whenever we choose to. Life is about living and learning and although it is said that people generally hate change the reality is that nothing stays the same, including us. Beauty is all around us as we change on a daily basis and so does everyone else, life is amazing isn’t it?

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams” – Eleanor Roosevelt

How do you build character? You focus on one characteristic a week. Often when people go through challenging times in their life they are referred to as character building opportunities. We strive to help you build your character on a weekly basis so that when you go through challenging times, as we all do, you will be better equipped emotionally and mentally to tackle and cope with what life throws at you. By joining our tribe you will not only contribute by creating the world you want to live in – you will inspire others to do the same. Be the change you want to see in the world. Make a difference.

How to practice the ‘Character Of The Week’ (5 mins a day max.):

  • Every morning: 1) Read the card; 2) Reflect on what the card is saying to you right now; 3) Have a great day by trusting that this characteristic will come to mind at the right time during your day
  • Every evening: 1) Reflect whether, when and how you strengthened this characteristic today; 2) if you did strengthen it be proud of who you are; if you didn’t strengthen that characteristic what would do differently next time if you got the opportunity.
  • Life is all about living and learning – and taking action – enjoy!
