Vision – begins in the mind

Vision – begins in the mind

10-16 December 2018

Vision begins in your mind, sometimes by being curious about how you could improve something, a situation, a process, a concept. You know what you want the end result to look like and then use your perceptiveness to guide you as to how you can make your vision a reality.

Your vision, whatever it may be, is going to impact the world, either positively or negatively. If your vision serves the world in a positive way your life is often much easier for you and you will be happy and feel a sense of fulfillment because of your attitude. When people have visions that serve just themselves or a smaller group of people life is often more challenging in so many ways.

Leaders have a vision and see things for how they could be. All of us can see things for how they can be improved in our own little world yet how many of us take the steps to make it happen?

Little things have a massive impact over time so by focussing on one character quality a week you will at times feel more confident because you are taking the actual steps to be who you want to be. So make sure that when you are aware of your actions and are mindful that you have done something from a space of pure intention that you acknowledge yourself for it. You’re awesome!

Changing the world starts with changing ourselves and we’d like to acknowledge you for having the open-mindedness and willingness to participate in our vision. Fighting a war to end bullying, backbiting and other negative behaviors can only be done as a collective once the individual takes responsibility. Thank you for your part in being a leader and being the change you wish to see in our world.

“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision” – Helen Keller

How do you build character? You focus on one characteristic a week. Often when people go through challenging times in their life they are referred to as character building opportunities. We strive to help you build your character on a weekly basis so that when you go through challenging times, as we all do, you will be better equipped emotionally and mentally to tackle and cope with what life throws at you. By joining our tribe you will not only contribute by creating the world you want to live in – you will inspire others to do the same. Be the change you want to see in the world. Make a difference.

How to practice the ‘Character Of The Week’ (5 mins a day max.):

  • Every morning: 1) Read the card; 2) Reflect on what the card is saying to you right now; 3) Have a great day by trusting that this characteristic will come to mind at the right time during your day
  • Every evening: 1) Reflect whether, when and how you strengthened this characteristic today; 2) if you did strengthen it be proud of who you are; if you didn’t strengthen that characteristic what would do differently next time if you got the opportunity.
  • Life is all about living and learning – and taking action – enjoy!
