Wisdom – Characteristic / Virtue of the Week
Be the best version of yourself you can be.
Ways of practicising Wisdom:
- Learn ‘The Serenity Prayer’ and reflect on it – acceptance, courage & wisdom
- Consider all consequences, seek the viewpoints (not necessarily advice) of others and do what feels right for the common good, including yourself
- Always be open-minded and willing to learn from everyone – the people who are most different from you are the people who can teach you the most
How to use this card:
Being mindful of a virtue each day will change your world and ours.
- Read this card each morning.
- At the end of each day take five minutes to reflect on your actions in regard to this virtue.
- Acknowledge yourself for how you displayed this virtue, or if you had the opportunity to practice the virtue and didn’t, then ask yourself what you would do differently next time – use it as a learning.
- You will find that over time you become much more in control of your feelings & emotions and grow emotionally, intellectually & spiritually stronger day by day.
