Forbearance – to get you through

Acknowledgement

Forbearance is a characteristic that you have applied lately, probably without acknowledging it within yourself.

Recognising your character qualities is partly why I share one characteristic a week. As a result for you to recognise it in yourself.

Many people see the positive character traits within others and not within themselves, or vice versa.

Changing your attitude

Seeing the strengths, gifts, within yourself and others can change your attitude.

For instance, mindset, which controls your attitude, plays a major contributor in how you get through challenging times.

By recognising when you start to feel down, or when your thoughts are negative is the first step you towards changing your attitude.

You have the power

You are the only one who can change your thoughts. You’re in the hot seat. You’re in control.

You’ve got through hard times before in your life and you’ll do it again later in life because you have forbearance and you just need to call on it when you need it in your life.

When things are tough, keep moving forward, one step at a time because you can get through anything that is thrown your way. And don’t forget to ask for help when you need it – you’ll be strengthening another positive character trait – wisdom!
