Purity with purpose

Purity with purpose

Purity with purpose is about freedom from contamination in today’s world. Here’s hoping this finds you pure! Every challenge in life has an outcome. ‘I have learnt more on my knees than I ever did standing tall’. In other words, when you go through tests and difficulties, you learn more than what you would when life is treating you well.

The world works in mysterious

You’ll be interested in this little fact because you’ve been participating in the journey of self-awareness and self-development. I select all the characteristics of the week randomly, for the following year. When it feels to me that it is the right time to do it.

The characteristic of the week continually amazes me at how relevant it is to our world that particular week. Being mindful of a character trait impacts my week. I love it when I receive messages from others about the impact it’s having on their week. So please feel free to share.

Life lessons

Hindsight is a wonderful thing it is said. How you have benefitted and grown from your experience once you get through challenging times. Regardless of whether your experience was a positive or negative one. What are the lessons life is teaching you now?

We’re all so different, yet we are all the same. We’ve all got different lessons to learn, yet they’re all the same. We’re not all going to Marie Kondo our homes just because we are isolated. We’re not all going to sort out our finances or weed our garden. We all have different lessons but we will all choose to spend our time in different ways. Some people will use this opportunity positively while others will not. Not this time anyway.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing

As they say, hindsight is a wonderful thing. It takes courage and honesty to look inwards and discover what you wish you knew beforehand. This is something not everyone is keen to do. When you are willing to do this, this is how you will grow and develop further as a person. We are all experiencing difficulties at the moment in one way or another. There are so many lessons going around. You now have the time to explore and discover what you wish you knew by now.

Many of the lessons include understanding. Relationships and unity, being kind to each other, helping each other out when we can, just because we can. Finances are also on the agenda. Scott Pap, in his book ‘Barefoot Investor’ recommends that your nest egg consists of three months worth of living expenses. How many people implemented that due to reading the book and applying what they learnt from it? Cleanliness is another essential lesson. It seems to have fallen to the wayside a little. People are now much more mindful of washing their hands thoroughly. Coughing and sneezing into their elbow or tissue then discarding it in the bin. Shouldn’t we have all been doing this all along anyway?

You’ll find what you look for

Having a positive mindset is not something everyone is prone to. Many people are inclined to worry, be anxious, frustrated, and become stir crazy when feeling confined. List everything you’ve always wanted to do if you had the time. Plan for your future and implement those things. Check out destinations you want to visit and where you would like to go. You have a future, a bright future, and even though you might feel stuck now, you are not stuck forever. Plan for the future and expand your mind about what possibilities lay ahead for you.

Start your mornings off with purpose. By knowing what you want from life you will take the necessary action to achieve it. Be true to yourself, and you’ll find purity with purpose. Always remember the outcome of lessons learnt. Kindness goes a long way and is the pandemic we want to spread around the world. Be kind to yourself, be kind to each other.
